My daughter and I are always game for field trips to Art Galleries and artsy events in Montreal. Here is a quick list of my top 10 picks for Art spaces in Montreal:

Viva Vida Art Gallery

The Viva Vida Art Gallery has to be #1 on my list, not only because it is owned by one of my best friends and my work is sold there, but because it is AWESOME. Viva Vida represents local and international artists. There is a large gallery space that hosts temporary exhibits and a gallery shop for great art gifts, jewelry and framing. They offer a wide variety of adult Art classes and workshops. They animate birthday parties year-round and run an Art Camp for kids in the summer. The venue can also be rented for private functions.
